Gorum Trees

Here's the most recent painting. It's taken from the same photo of trees as "Grandma's Trees." Gorum, LA is hidden away in a National Forest in Central Louisiana. This is a small guy at 20x16...I think I prefer working on the larger pieces, but I like the way this one turned out.

That's a very lovely painting! I have this affinity to green and because the colour is soothing for me to look at similar to purple.

Got here from Zeitzeuge Redux.

Agan, I love it. It's something I would actually hang. (And I hang very little) Its conection to you and LA would make it even more special to me.

Well done.

It's interesting that although it's in the same style and and general color range as the triptych, it has a totally different feel--denser, more complex, with a hint of menace. I think it's very successful.

Like Charles, I find green soothing. This is lovely!

Reminds me of a Tiffany lamp or window!
